Barry McCarron (麦贝力)
基本情况
Barry McCarron (麦贝力)，都柏林大学学院历史学学士，乔治敦大学历史学博士。2021年10月由中山大学“百人计划”引进至历史学系，任副教授。加入中山大学前，曾任教于纽约大学，并在墨尔本大学和牛津大学从事访问研究。博士论文获得2016年世界历史协会博士论文奖。他正在撰写两本书：一本是首部以全球视角考察中国人和爱尔兰人互动状况的著作，另一本是首部研究建设横跨北美大陆铁路的工人经历（包括中国人、爱尔兰人、日本人、摩门教徒、非裔美国人、美洲原住民和其他群体）的著作。
